Resolution

Copying/Pasting Images No Longer Allowed in Blackboard Content Editor

Blackboard disabled the ability to copy and paste images into the Content Editor as of February 25, 2021. This change is due to performance issues caused by the paste process. NOTE: Users can still copy/paste the text into the Content Editor as before; this change only affects pasted images.

When you attempt to paste a copied image into the Content Editor, you will see this error message:

Users should utilize the Plus + (Add Content) icon to upload pictures into the editor.
