Blackboard - Reviewing Instructor Feedback and Rubics

Issue/Question

  • I do not know how to review my grades or feedback.
  • I need to review my submission history.

Environment

  • Blackboard Learn

User Role

  • Student

Resolution

You can review the grades and feedback on your My Grades page. You can also access the assignment's Review Submission History page and review the grade and feedback in context. Assignments aren't graded automatically. Your instructor must grade each assignment.

To review your grade and feedback, go to the My Grades page and click on the assignment title. If there is a Rubric attached to an assignment, it can be viewed by clicking View Rubric right under the assignment title.

This will bring you to this screen:

The left pane is your assignment with your instructor’s markups in context:

A. Sidebar:View Thumbnail, Outline, Annotation, or Bookmark views of the submission.

Selecting an annotation in the sidebar summary view doesn't identify it within the document.

B. Pages:Use the arrows to jump to different pages in the submission.

C. Pan:Move the submission on the page.

D. Zoomand Fit: Zoom in and out of the submission or adjust the view to fit the page, fit the width, or select the best fit.

E. Print or Download: Print or download the submission with the annotations.

F. Search: Search the submission for specific text.

The right pane contains your grade and other assignment feedback. If your instructor has attached additional documents for review, they will appear in the comments section, noted in the red box below. mceclip5.png
